| DIY heart wreath with fuzzy yarn |
Nina and I have been making more crafts for Valentines. I had to help her with hot glue and also helped her around bottom tip part. We used super soft and fuzzy yarn to wrap around the foam heart shape from JoAnns. Made the "hanger" part from scrap tulle.

Also, I bought a package of Lilly-of the-Valley bulbs at Walmart and planted them in an old glass flower vase topped with different kinds of moss gathered from the nearby wooded area in the Fall. Can't wait for my little homemade arrangement to bloom. Promise to show off the photos when it does. Is not it a great idea for Valentines or Mother's Day?!
I am also toying with the idea of DIY-ing a succulent heart shaped live arrangement. I am thinking maybe using a large heart cake form for it?? Any suggestions are appreciated. Here is the photo of my inspiration from Etsy:

that's a pretty arrangement...would make nice gifts :)

Nice idea! I have such a fondness for succulents.
ReplyDeleteCute plant arrangement... I wish I didn't have the dreaded "black thumb"
ReplyDeleteI recall making a smaller, yarn-wrapped heart many years ago! Also, wanted to let you know that my most recent post has a photo of me wearing the necklace you so kindly made and sent to me more than 2 years ago, after my surgery. I still wear and enjoy it frequently.

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never
ReplyDeleteunderstand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for
me. I'm looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
