Nashville Memorial Stair Climb

my friend's husband, climbing for David M. Weiss (Rescue 1)

Hundreds of Tennessee firefighters and their families gathered in downtown Nashville today for the second annual Memorial Stair Climb, honoring the 343 firefighters that died a decade ago in New York.  In full gear, the firemen climbed the equivalent of 110 stories at the Tennessee Tower, each carrying a picture of a fallen hero.  What a great way to remember.  I attend church with some of these guys and am so proud of it.

  1. Our thought and hearts are will all the people in the US, specially those who lost a loved one on 9/11 and the war in Afghanistan and Irak. Peace to all!
